Juniper Hairstreak Butterfly Lifting Spirits In Los Alamos

This Juniper Hairstreak butterfly is lifting spirits all over Los Alamos as it lights on a Black Eyed Susan blooming on the deck of a home Aug. 23 on Barranca Mesa. The butterfly spent 10 a.m. to noon flitting among flowers on the deck before flying off to parts unknown. Photo by Selvi Viswanathan
