The Los Alamos High School Band is hosting the Jingle Bell Rock ‘N Roll Run Sunday, Dec. 9 to raise money for the LAHS band program.

The fun run includes the choice of a 5K or 1 mile run and is modeled after the popular Rock and Roll marathons by featuring live music along the routes. LAHS students will play holiday tunes for the runners.

Costs are $30 for the 5K (race day registration is $35) and $10 for the mile. Both of the fun runs start and end at Los Alamos Middle School.

The mile run starts at 2 p.m. and the 5K starts at 2:30 p.m. Prizes will be awarded for the top three male and female finishers. Ribbons will be given to those who complete the mile.
