ALBUQUERQUE –The Jewish Federation of New Mexico (JFNM) announces an evening with Thomas L. Friedman, a Pulitzer Prize winning journalist and author.

Friedman is the bestselling author of The World is Flat, as well as an award-winning journalist with The New York Times. He will be delivering a talk virtually at the Jewish Community Campus in Albuquerque where he will discuss some of the struggles our world faces such as globalization and climate change.

“We are thrilled that Thomas Friedman is speaking to our local community,” said Rabbi Dr. Robert Lennick, CEO of the Jewish Federation of New Mexico. “He is an incredibly accomplished author and journalist, and we are fortunate to have a person with his experience speaking to our community.”

The evening also will include an in-person, complimentary “Gratitude is the Attitude” dinner prior to Friedman’s presentation. The event will take place 7 p.m. Sunday, April 10. People can register by calling 505.259.3682 or emailing info@jewishnewmexico.org.

The Jewish Federation of New Mexico has supported the Jewish community in New Mexico and Southern Colorado since 1948. It sponsors programs throughout the community that promotes Jewish engagement and education, provides care to those in need, supports Israel, and fosters a sense of community.
