We have heard the story surrounding the resurrection of Jesus, but—did it really happen, or is it just a good story? Join us this Sunday at Trinity on the Hill Episcopal Church for a FREE community dinner (celebrating Cinco de Mayo—ole!) and contemporary worship service (this Sunday and EVERY second and fourth Sunday).
The meal begins at 5:15 p.m. this Sunday, April 27, followed at 6:07 p.m. with the service and a live praise-and-worship band. For this service, the band will be going acoustic (no amplification), so it will have a softer, more folksy mix. Let us know what you think of the new sound.
Are we meant to interpret the resurrection literally or symbolically? This Sunday Mother Alicia will discuss the different interpretations of the resurrection and why the early church believed and the church today still believes in a literal, real resurrection of Christ. We will cover why Christ died for us and why He rose again, as well as how these two events impact our future and our day-to-day life.
Connect with us with Praise and Worship Sunday evening. Come—and get elevated! EVERYONE is welcome to come help rock the house of God. We’ll have great music, food, prayer and praise!
