Village of Jemez Springs News:

For the fifth year, the Village of Jemez Springs will be hosting their “I Heart Jemez Art” event 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 2 and Sunday, Sept. 3 in the Village Plaza.

The Village Plaza will have several arts and crafts vendors selling handmade jewelry, wearable art, wood decor, fine art and more during the event.

From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday enjoy live music by cover band, Ravin Hill Band, who will play at the Plaza as well as music 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 3 by the variety band, Crazy Bird Band.

The “I Heart Jemez Art” event brings hundreds of visitors the to Plaza every year, and provides an opportunity to buy handmade items as well as a chance for vendors to generate new customers.

Jemez Springs is continuing to grow its artist community and offerings, with several galleries in the Village and artist opportunities including: Jemez Fine Arts Gallery, Jemez Artisans Co-op Gallery, Mission Street Arts, Shangrila West Gallery and Jemez Mountain Pottery and Sculpture.

The “I Heart Jemez Art” is free to the public and takes place at the Plaza at 80 Jemez Springs Plaza in Jemez Springs.
