Jeff Casalina, Democrat, files to run for Los Alamos County Assessor Tuesday in Council Chambers at the Municipal Building. Casalina said he has retired from the Department of Energy and he wanted to do something more. After speaking to current Assessor George Chandler, Casalina decided to run for Assessor.
