In honor of  the birthday of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., today is an entrance fee-free day at Bandelier. This marks the first of the fee-free days for 2024. The remaining entrance fee-free days for 2024 include April 20 – First Day of National Park Week, June 19 – Juneteenth, Aug. 4 – Great American Outdoors Day, Sept. 28 – National Public Lands Day and Nov.  11 – Veterans Day.
