GIRL SCOUT News:
Los Alamos and White Rock Girl Scouts have begun their annual, and much anticipated, Girl Scout Cookie Program. Girls in the local area will have cookies on hand today and begin door-to-door sales this week.
This year they are delivering Samoas, Tagalongs, Thin Mints, Savannah Smiles, Trefoils, Rah-Rah Raisins, Do-Si-Dos and very limited quantities of the new gluten-free cookie Toffetastic. Cookies are $4 per box, with the exception of Toffetastic, which are $5 per box.
Cookie booth sales begin in March and a free Cookie Finder app for both Apple and Android phones can be downloaded to locate active booths within a given radius.
The annual cookie program benefits troops directly and supports Council activities like summer camps and STEM programs.
