INFINITY SQUARED MUSIC News:

Don’t miss this concert at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 24. Matt Baird, lead singer for Spoken, has come from Iowa by way of Texas to do an acoustic show at New Beginnings Fellowship for a $5 cover fee.

This event is the third show in six months, brought to you by a new Los Alamos community group, represented by the name Infinity Squared Music and coordinated by local Phil Jacobson.

The name was born out of the first show (September 2014), where nationally-acclaimed Everfound performed at White Rock Baptist Church. Following that show, this consortium of leaders from across our community churches agreed to continue bringing Christian bands to Los Alamos to provide encouragement and hope to all ages through the Gospel message.

These shows have already reached from grade school to senior adults all sharing in the beauty of music. The group intends these shows to be enjoyed by all of Los Alamos and the greater Northern New Mexico area.

The name Infinity Squared Music, while not mathematically sensible, is meant to illustrate how far away God can take our mistakes. The “God of the Impossible” makes possible the things we can’t imagine.

During the growth of this effort, there has been tremendous support from local businesses. Morning Glory Bakery has provided financial, advertising and food donations. Smith’s Marketplace, CB FOX, Bob’s Bodacious BBQ, Home Run Pizza, Mark The Electrician Inc., Film Festival, Reel Deal Theater, State Farm – Lou Santoro, Ruby K’s, and many more have also donated to support these shows.  We thank them for their generosity. 

At this time, the consortium includes support from White Rock Baptist Church, Bethlehem Lutheran, Trinity On The Hill Episcopal, Calvary Chapel, Christian Church, Church of Christ, White Rock Presbyterian and New Beginnings Fellowship.
