I-25 / St. Francis Drive Update

NMDOT News:

NMDOT is shutting down detour lanes at the I-25 / St. Francis Drive interchange this afternoon and diverting traffic back on to I-25.

Traffic will be funneled into single lanes on northbound and southbound I-25. Open and closed lanes may alternate as the project winds down.

All lanes on I-25 at this key interchange in Santa Fe should be re-opened by Christmas, weather permitting. The $6.1 million rehabilitation project will enhance public safety and prolong the life of four bridges on I-25 and one bridge on the St. Francis Drive northbound off-ramp.

NMDOT urges motorists to proceed through the work zone with caution, observe traffic control signing, and reduce speed to posted limits. For information on other construction and maintenance projects, visit the NMDOT road advisory website at NMRoads.com.
