The New Mexico Department of Transportation is alerting motorists that there will be a ramp closure at the Interstate 25/St. Francis Drive interchange in Santa Fe tonight.
The northbound off-ramp to St. Francis Drive will be closed from 8 p.m. Aug. 31 until 5 a.m. Sept. 1. The ramp is being closed for safety reasons while work is done on the bridge above it.
Motorists exiting from I-25 to Santa Fe may take the Old Pecos Trail, Cerrillos Road, or N.M. 599 exits. The southbound on-ramp from St. Francis Drive to I-25 will remain open.
Crews will be working at the interchange all Labor Day weekend but Friday night is the only night the northbound off-ramp will be closed.
Single lane closures on I-25 and St. Francis Drive will continue until bridge work is completed.
Drivers are asked to proceed through the work zone with caution, watch for traffic control signing and observe reduced speed limits.
