Honor Flight Of Northern New Mexico Invites World War II & Korean War Veterans To Washington, D.C. In June

HONOR FLIGHT News:

ALBUQUERQUE — Honor Flight of Northern New Mexico is inviting more World War II and Korean War veterans to take a free trip to Washington, D.C. in June.

Deadline to sign up for the trip is Sunday, April 21. The trip is free to veterans and allows them to reflect upon their own memorial as well as others. This year’s trip will take place Wednesday, June 19 through Friday, June 21.

Interested veterans should fill out an application at honorflightnorthernnm.org or call 505.835.1993.

Honor Flight of Northern New Mexico is a 501-c3 organization based in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The organization takes World War II, Koran War and Vietnam War Veterans to Washington D.C., free of charge, to reflect upon their own memorials. Currently, first preference goes to World War II and Korean War Veterans or other war veterans who are terminally ill. The non-profit raises funds for this annual trip every year through a car show in April and a golf tournament in October.
