Holidays At The Palace & The Native American Portal Artisans’ Winter Youth Show And Sale Dec. 12-14

Join the New Mexico History Museum for two beloved annual events Dec. 12 – 14, 2025—Holidays at the Palace and the Native American Portal Artisans’ Winter Youth Show and Sale.

Step into the enchanting atmosphere of the Palace of the Governors, adorned with festive decorations and glimmering farolitos during “Holidays at the Palace.” Enjoy live music, activities, hot cider, holiday cookies, and a visit from Santa Claus. Donations of non-perishable food items will be accepted at the event. Come back on the weekend to support the next generation of Native American artists and craftspeople at the Native American Portal Youth Winter Show and Sale. Youth artists aged five to seventeen who specialize in a variety of artistic mediums will be showcasing and selling their work in the museum’s main lobby. Both of these programs are free.

  • Holidays at the Palace, 5:30 – 7:30 p.m., Friday, Dec. 12
  • Native American Portal Artisans’ Winter Youth Show & Sale, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m., Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 13 and 14
