Book Award Winners
Gaspar Pérez de Villagrá Award – for an outstanding publication in New Mexico or Southwest Borderlands history (co-winners)
- Brandon Morgan – Raid and Reconciliation: Pancho Villa, Modernization, and Violence in the U.S.-Mexico Borderlands, University of Nebraska Press
- Frances Levine – Crossings: Women on the Santa Fe Trail, University Press of Kansas
Fray Francisco Atanasio Dominguez Award – for an outstanding publication or significant contribution to historic survey and research in New Mexico or Southwest Borderlands history

- J. Hoolihan Clayton – Discretion is Valor: A Novel of Factual History Pertaining to the Chihenne and Mescalero Apache, Dog Soldier Press
Fabiola Cabeza de Baca Award – for an outstanding publication or exhibit relating to domestic life in New Mexico
- Tim Amsden – Love Letter to Ramah: Living beside New Mexico’s Trail of the Ancients, University of New Mexico Press
Lansing B. Bloom Award – for an outstanding publication in New Mexico or Southwest borderlands history by an institution affiliated with the Historical Society of New Mexico
- East Mountain Historical Society 2025 calendar, “Picturing History”
Service Award Winners
Edgar Lee Hewett Award – to recognize outstanding service to the people of New Mexico, as related to New Mexico history
- Nikki Nojima Louis – For decades of achievement and creative activities bringing awareness to the important history of Japanese-American incarceration during WWII in New Mexico.
