SPORTS News:
The Los Alamos High School Hilltoppers hit the road Saturday for a doubleheader showdown against the Pojoaque Elks—and they brought the heat.
After a slow start in Game 1, the Toppers traded runs with the Elks until their bats came alive in the 4th inning, exploding for 9 runs. They kept the momentum going in the 5th, tacking on 4 more runs to seal a dominant 16-3 win.
Game 2 was more of the same Topper power. A massive 12-runs in the 3rd inning blew the game wide open, leading to a commanding 15-2 victory and a clean sweep of the day.
