The Los Alamos High School Hilltopper varsity girls basketball team hosted the Española Valley Sundevils Thursday night at Griffith Gymnasium for the district semifinals.

The Sundevils came out aggressively taking an early lead in the first quarter, but the Toppers battled back winning the matchup 51-40.

The Toppers will take on the Pojoaque Elkettes in the district finals at 6 p.m. today in Pojoaque.
