Hilltop House Renamed ‘Atomic City Hotel’

Details continue to roll out following Friday’s purchase of the Hilltop House Hotel by Atomic City Investments LP.

The group’s Marketing Director Stacey Glaser told the Los Alamos Daily Post this evening that the new owners have renamed the Hilltop House “Atomic City Hotel.”

Glaser also said during a telephone interview late this afternoon that the owners are excited to become a part of the community.

Atomic City Investments is headquartered in Austin, Texas, according to State Log Business Registrations. Registered agent Steven Bowers filed corporation papers for the company June 1 with the Texas Secretary of State.

Other businesses registered by Bowers include:

  • Atomic City GP LLC, Austin, Texas;
  • Sipapu Recreation Management LLC, Austin, Texas;
  • SBMT McKinney LLC, Austin, Texas;
  • SBMT Greenville LLC, Austin, Texas; and
  • Gold Yarrow Properties LLC, Austin, Texas.

Sipapu Recreation Management LLC is operating Pajarito Mountain Ski Area and is comprised of the people who own the recently formed Atomic City Investments.

Glaser said the new owners of the Atomic City Hotel in Los Alamos hope to have the hotel fully renovated and open for guests by the upcoming ski season.
