Get ready for an exciting weekend! If you love women’s gymnastics but couldn’t make it to the Olympic Games, don’t miss the chance to catch amazing gymnasts—from beginners to advanced athletes—at this year’s Dreamcatcher Invitational, hosted by Los Alamos High Flyers Gymnastics. Happening this weekend, Feb. 21-23 at the Santa Fe Convention Center, the Dreamcatcher is the largest gymnastics meet in New Mexico, with a record 950 gymnasts, representing 28 teams from six states, expected to compete.

High Flyers families have been hard at work for months to prepare for this spectacular annual event, which kicks off 2:30 p.m. Friday and continues throughout the weekend with spectators able to view dual competition areas. The meet is High Flyers’ primary fundraiser of the year; Los Alamos’s Jeff Favorite will be returning as the event announcer and is sure to brings smiles with his lighthearted performance.

Around 35 Los Alamos student athletes plan to compete this weekend. The meet promises to be a lot of fun for both athletes and spectators, with multiple concessions and shopping available, professional photos, and a free dress-up photo booth. High Flyers would like to thank major sponsors First National 1870 and Kliesen Angus who help make this event possible.

The public is welcome; all-day admission is $20 adults, $10 kids. For full details and schedule, visit the Dreamcatcher Invitational information page.
