CONCERT News:

High Desert Winds Santa Fe (HDWSF) will present its Spring 2026 Concert, a tribute to mothers and other prominent women, at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 17, at St. Francis Auditorium, New Mexico Museum of Art, 107 W. Palace Ave., in Santa Fe.

This concert features Suite from ‘Maria de Buenos Aires’ and guest conductor Jan Gaynor, conducting ‘Blessed Are They’ by Johannes Brahms.

Other selections include:

  • Tuttarana by Esmail
  • Cyrus the Great by K.L. King
  • First Suite in Eb for Military Band by Holst
  • A Mother of A Revolution! By Omar Thomas
  • Timeless by HDWSF’s own Andrew Zinkham

HDWSF features Artistic Director R. Hernandez and music by Piazzolla, Holst, Thomas, and Brahms.

The concert is free, but donations are accepted.
