SANTA FE — The Northern New Mexico Type 3 Incident Management Team has returned to respond to post fire flood response after battling the Black Feather Fire.
Officials are in the Hermit’s Peak Calf Canyon burn scar assessing work needed to be done. Multiple pieces of heavy equipment have been ordered to help clear debris, clean culverts, and repair roads.
A new phone number has been established for those who are having issues with the QR code. People can leave messages regarding flood response needs in their area. These messages will be combined with information from our online response forms to get that information to the proper officials. As a rule, the QR code forms will be faster for response since the information will reach the database immediately without having to be transcribed and compiled from the phone messages.
Flyers with QR codes to online forms and phone number are posted in US Post Offices in Mora and San Miguel Counties.
