U.S. Sen. Dianne Feinstein June 22, 1933 – Sept. 28, 2023

WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Sen. Martin Heinrich (D-N.M.) issued the following statement in response to the passing of U.S. Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.):

“Senator Dianne Feinstein was a trailblazer. She believed in a nation that put safety first. She leaves behind a legacy marked by the paths she paved for all of us to follow. It was a privilege to be her colleague. Julie and I have her family in our thoughts.”

Editor’s note: Dianne Goldman Berman Feinstein was an American politician who served as a United States senator from California for 31 years, from 1992 until her death Sept. 28, 2023.
