Get ready for Halloween with Fright Night: Death by Chocolate, a chocolate-themed, 21-and-over celebration after hours, 6:30-10 p.m., Friday Oct. 28. at the New Mexico Museum of Natural History & Science (NMMNHS).

Parking is available in the lots immediately north of the museum and across 18th Street.

Fright Night: Death by Chocolate will feature a costume contest, along with fractals, frights and plenty of chocolate!

Attendees will have a chance to experience NMMNHS’s “Chocolate: The Exhibition” after the Museum closes, offering a new way to experience the exhibition that explores the history and science behind chocolate. Then dance the night away next to Bisti Beast! Don’t forget to dress to impress, as the Museum will host a costume contest with three prizes for each category.

This event also will feature the Museum’s first Fractal shows in more than two years under the NMMNHS Planetarium dome. There will be two showings, 7 p.m. and 8 p.m., and seats will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

General admission to the event is $15, and tickets can be purchased in advance at my.nmculture.org/14797/14798. Museum members may purchase tickets for $10 at the Museum’s box office only. The Fractal shows are admission by donation.

Note: This event is for visitors 21 and over, and ID must be provided upon check-in.
