SALA Event Center unveils an action-packed schedule of events and films happening this week, offering something for everyone. From world-class theater performances to cinematic classics, SALA continues to bring entertainment and community engagement to Los Alamos.
National Theater Live: Hamlet
On Thursday, Jan. 23 at 7 p.m. experience Benedict Cumberbatch’s stunning portrayal
of Shakespeare’s iconic tragedy, Hamlet. Presented by the Los Alamos Arts Council, this
critically acclaimed production delves into themes of revenge, intrigue and moral conflict.
New Reels: Brave the Dark and A Complete Unknown
Two outstanding films as part of SALA’s New Reels series, sponsored by LANet:
- Brave the Dark: A heartwarming drama about redemption and hope, focusing on the
transformative relationship between a troubled teen and an inspiring teacher. - A Complete Unknown: A compelling biopic exploring the enigmatic life and career of
music legend Bob Dylan.
Showtimes are 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday.

On Saturday, Jan. 25 at 6:30 p.m. don’t miss The Trial, a gripping adaptation of Franz

of guilt, justice, and the absurdity of bureaucracy.
Open Cinema: Star Wars: The Last Jedi
Close out the week with an epic journey to a galaxy far, far away. Star Wars: The Last Jedi will
be shown 6 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 26. This special screening supports LA Cares, so ticket purchases help contribute to a great local cause.
