Guardians Of The Night Star Party June 14

NMMSH News:

Watch the night sky come alive Saturday, June 14, 2025, as the Astronomy League and the New Mexico Museum of Space History invite the public to a breathtaking celestial celebration.

From 8–10 p.m., enjoy live views of deep-sky objects, expert astrophotography demonstrations featuring real-time image stacking, and a special talk from a museum educator on light pollution, dark sky preservation, and the science of night sky-friendly lighting.

This free, family-friendly event is suitable for attendees of all ages and interests.

In the event of inclement weather, programming will move indoors to the Tombaugh Dome and Planetarium.

Whether you’re an amateur astronomer or love a good cosmic view, “Guardians of the Night” is your chance to connect with the universe.

The New Mexico Museum of Space History in Alamogordo is a division of the New Mexico Department of Cultural Affairs.
