Gregg Janecky Of Los Alamos Named Camp Director Of High Cascade Snowboard Camp In Mount Hood, Ore.

High Cascade Snowboard Camp Mount Hood, Ore., announces the hiring of its new camp director Gregg Janecky, a Los Alamos High School graduate.
 
Janecky began his HCSC career 10 summers ago as a trampoline monitor and most recently was lead counselor. Along the way he developed the organization’s trampoline program and built the Lodge into the center of camp life in government camp.
 
Outside of camp, Janecky is a career coach with a graduate degree in sports management. In the winter he is the snowboard camp; freeski program manager for the Northstar Team in Lake Tahoe and the North Tahoe Series director for USASA.
 
Before he made the move to California, Janecky was the founder and director of The Backwoods Project, a non-profit terrain park focused on underserved youth in Montana. He is the son of Louise and David Janecky of Los Alamos.
