Amanda Mía Chávez García is a 2007 graduate of Los Alamos High School. After high school she attended Northern New Mexico College and completed her Bachelor of Arts in Integrated Studies with an emphasis in Psychology in May 2015.
After completion of her undergraduate degree, García applied and was accepted into the University of Southern California where she pursued her Master’s in Social Work. She has successfully completed her Master’s and is now an alumni to one of the top social work schools in the country. Her concentration is in Mental Health with a sub-concentration in Military social work.
Garcia has always had a passion for helping others and working in the communities she has known as home.
