Governor Susana Martinez Sworn In For Second Term

Santa Fe – Gov. Susana Martinez was sworn in Wednesday night to begin her second term during a midnight ceremony at the Governor’s Residence in Santa Fe. Administered by New Mexico Court of Appeals Judge J. Miles Hanisee and in the presence of her closest family and friends, Martinez took the oath of office with her husband First Gentleman Chuck Franco, stepson Carlo, sister Lettie, and brother Jake by her side.

“I am humbled that New Mexicans have entrusted me with the opportunity to continue to serve as governor,” Martinez said. “I pledge to continue working across the aisle in a bipartisan manner to build an even better New Mexico for future generations.”
