SANTA FE ― Gov. Susana Martinez has announced appointments to the Behavioral Health Planning Council, Children’s Trust Fund Board of Trustees, Crime Victims Reparation Commission, Dona Ana County Commission, Manufactured Housing Committee and Museum Board of Regents.
Sandtina Melendrez of Tyrone has been appointed to the Behavioral Health Planning Council. She has worked as a grant writer, behavioral health specialist, and social worker. Melendrez holds a Master of Social Work from Western New Mexico University in Silver City and a Master of Arts in Counseling from New Mexico State University in Las Cruces.
Mickie Holland of Lovington has been appointed to the Children’s Trust Fund Board of Trustees. She is the Chief Clinical Officer for the Guidance Center of Lea County-Humphrey House. Holland holds of Master of Science in Psychology from University of the Southwest in Hobbs.
Wendi Hulett of Artesia has been appointed to the Children’s Trust Fund Board of Trustees. She is the Chief Nursing Officer for the Lincoln County Medical Center. Hulett holds two Master of Science degrees in Nursing and Health Administration from University of Phoenix in Phoenix, Arizona.
Mark Myers of Placitas has been appointed to the Crime Victims Reparation Commission. He recently retired as Chief of Staff and Acting Deputy Secretary for the New Mexico Corrections Department. Myers holds a Master of Arts in Forensic Psychology from Argosy University in Phoenix, Arizona.
Kim Hakes of Las Cruces has been appointed to the Dona Ana County Commission, representing District 5. He will serve through the next general election. Hakes fills the vacant seat created by the resignation of John Vasquez. Hakes retired from Citizens Bank in Las Cruces in 2015. He is also a veteran of the United States Army. A graduate of Brigham Young University, he also earned a Master of Business Administration from Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona.
Gabe Romo of Rio Rancho has been appointed to the Manufactured Housing Committee. He is a Branch Manager for Supreme Lending and the Regional Vice President for Sun West Mortgage Company. Romo holds a Bachelor of Arts in Education/Administration from the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque.
Marshall Jones of Gallup has been appointed to the Manufactured Housing Committee. He is the owner of All American Home Park. Jones is a member of the Manufactured Housing Association and has been working in the manufactured home business since 1993.
Stan Hubbard of Albuquerque has been appointed to the Museum Board of Regents. He is the Chief Executive Officer of Reelz Channel and the Vice President and Director of Hubbard Broadcasting. Hubbard holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
