SANTA FE — Today, Gov. Susana Martinez signed the Vaccine Purchasing Act.
Senate Bill 121, sponsored by Rep. Terry McMillan, R-Las Cruces and Sen. Bill O’Neill, D-Albuquerque, shores up funding for a statewide program that provides critical vaccines for children against life-threatening diseases. New Mexico is one of only nine states that purchase all recommended vaccines for children.
This legislation will ensure that New Mexico continues to be a leader in vaccinating children against life-threatening diseases.
