The Republican Party of Los Alamos is hosting two events this week:

• Monthly Meeting – at 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 3, in Room 505 at UNM-LA with guest speaker is Dr. Kurt Steinhaus, superintendent of the Los Alamos Public Schools. A light supper will be provided; and

• Annual Constitution Day Dinner – 6-8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 5, at Cottonwood on the Greens. Agenda includes a silent auction, winners of the Student Constitution Essay Contest, and featured speaker Dr. Gavin Clarkson. Tickets are $60/person at the door. Contact: leadership@losalamosgop.com.
