Piñon Elementary School had the honor of hosting Whitney Spivey, author of Goodnight, Los Alamos, Wednesday, Nov. 20 in White Rock. She spoke to the first, second and third grade classes about writing, answered may eager questions, and shared her beautiful book. Spivey graciously signed books afterward with Scout, one of her daughters, in her lap.
