The annual Los Alamos Fair and Rodeo is happening this weekend! One of the highlights, the parade, will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday on Central Avenue.
The 2022 theme is “Stars, Stripes & Summer Nights,” with parade judges and new community leaders Los Alamos Public Schools Superintendent Dr. José Delfin and Los Alamos Medical Center CEO Tracie Stratton, as well as beloved parade favorite and passionate community advocate, Kiwanis leader, and former County Councilor, Morrie Pongratz.
This year’s parade, organized by Los Alamos MainStreet and Los Alamos Creative District, is sponsored by Los Alamos County and Enterprise Bank & Trust. Other fair and rodeo activities scheduled for later on Saturday include the Los Alamos County Fair at Ashley Pond Park, Arts and Crafts Fair at Fuller Lodge Lawn, exhibits at Mesa Public Library, the rodeo at Brewer Arena on North Mesa, a Cowboy Dinner and Dance and more.
