TOTH News:

This week at Trinity on the Hill Episcopal Church, join the congregation for Generations.

The program will discuss how to receive God’s love and how to be in a relationship with each person of the Trinity (One God, three distinct persons.)

Generations takes place at 5:15 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 10. A free meal will be served and at 6:07 p.m. the program begins, with contemporary music by the Generations band, a sermon by Mother Alicia Pope, and the receiving of Holy Eucharist.

St. Valentine’s Day is coming up Feb. 14. Saint Valentine is a widely recognized third-century Roman saint and associated since the High Middle Ages with a tradition of courtly love.

Legends about Saint Valentine tell us that he was imprisoned for performing weddings for soldiers who were forbidden to marry and for ministering to persecuted Christians under the Roman Empire.

“This is my Commandment: To Love Each Other as I Have Loved You.” (John 15:12)
