The Los Alamos Genealogical Association will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 9 at the Mesa Public Library in Los Alamos. A no-host dinner will be held at 5:30 p.m. at China Moon. Speaker Lisa Kindrick will join the group for dinner.
Librarian Lisa Kindrick will present an overview of the many resources available to support family history research from your home in Los Alamos, any branch of the Albuquerque/Bernalillo County Library System, and at the ABC Library Genealogy Center in downtown Albuquerque.
With many specialized databases, a computer lab, over 31,000 books of genealogical and local history information from all over the United States and the world, an extensive microfilm collection, and experienced volunteers from the Albuquerque and New Mexico Genealogical Societies to assist you, learn how to take advantage of these free resources.
