Geimer Is Top Predictor & First Place Finisher In 5K Race

ACRR News:

Paul Geimer was the top predictor at 10 seconds off his predicted time as well as the best finisher in the 5K distance with a time of 18:50 in the weekly pace race out on Barranca Mesa. 

Other accurate predictors: 

  • Adrienne Hetrick with a 12 second differential and also the top female on the 5K course recording a 22:38;
  • Mark Bjorklund at 13 seconds off;
  • Catherine Hensley with a 15 second difference; and
  • Zach Medin recording 17 seconds off.

On the 1 mile course Adrian Medin, 11, was the first finisher at 8:33 and Jacky Atkins was the best female recording a time of 10:48.

Next week’s race is 6 p.m. Tuesday, June 21, starting on the west end of the Canyon Rim Trail on Knecht Street behind McDonald’s by Knecht Auto Parts near Smith’s.

1 and 3 mile paved courses will be available.
