Gathering in Remembrance of Ted O’Connor June 28

A gathering in remembrance of Ted O’Connor is set for 1-4 p.m., June 28 at Fuller Lodge.

O’Connor, 63, passed away the week of March 16, 2014 at his home in Los Alamos. He graduated from Los Alamos High School in 1968 and continued his education at New Mexico State University in Las Cruces.
He was a skilled brick mason, working in Los Alamos, Las Cruces, Albuquerque, Santa Fe and Kona, Hawaii. 

O’Connor also worked with Santa Fe Pro Musica as a member of the stage crew. In high school he was a Junior Ski Patrolmen and member of the Los Alamos Ski Racing Team. He was known as “Bear Man” at the Pajarito Mountain Ski Area because of the long fur coat he wore while skiing. He continued to enjoy skiing during his adult life.

The community is invited to the June 28 gathering in remembrance event.
