Future of NM Spaceport on PBS This Week

On this week’s edition of New Mexico in Focus, the weekly news and public affairs series from New Mexico PBS, the conversation is about the future of Spaceport America near Alamogordo.

The program airs at 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. on New Mexico PBS 5.1 and repeats at 7 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 3.

The New Mexico Senate has approved a liability-limiting measure for companies operating from the Spaceport. If the House follows suit, Virgin Galactic may soon start operations in earnest at the Southern New Mexico facility. But what’s in store for the Spaceport beyond tourism?
