Los Alamos School of Gymnastics Atomic Tumblers’ Brianna Fryer, Addison Richie and Anna Clark became New Mexico State All-around Champions in their divisions following their performances in the Xcel Program State Gymnastics Meet in Rio Rancho Dec. 1.
Fryer swept the Bronze Child A Division, becoming the NM State vault (8.8), bar (9.5), beam (9.15), floor (9.15) and all-around (36.6) Champion. Fryer was the top all-around scorer across all divisions for the Tumblers’.
Richie earned the NM State Champion titles on vault (8.75), bars (9.5), beam (9.2) and all-around in the Child B Division. Richie took bronze on floor (8.8) and was the second highest all-around scorer (36.25) across all divisions for the Tumblers’.
Clark earned the NM State Champion title for her performance on bars (9.3), beam (8.5) and all-around (35.0) in the Silver Junior Division. Clark took bronze on vault (8.4) and floor (8.8.)
Bronze Child A Division
In the same division as Fryer, Katerina Kovalevskaya placed second all-around (35.6), earning silver on floor (9.1) and beam (9.0), bronze on bars (9.0), and 4th place on vault (8.5.) The bronze medal in the all-around (34.25) went to Kayli Lincoln, who also earned silver on bars (9.35) and bronze on vault (8.7.) Teammate Milan Vigil placed 4th all-around (34.1) and earned a tie for gold on vault (8.8), bronze on floor (8.85), and a tie for bronze on beam (7.8.) Danielle Bellamy earned a tie for bronze on beam (7.8) and placed 5th in the all-around (32.8.) Bellamy also gave a strong performance on bars (8.5.)
Bronze Child B Division
In the same division as Richie, Anna Batista earned bronze on vault (8.4) and placed 6th in the all-around with a 33.3. Batista also gave a solid performance on beam (8.5.)
Bronze Junior A Division
Charolette Gonzales placed 6th all-around (32.3), earning 8.3 on beam and 8.2 on floor.
Bronze Junior B Division
Marlie Maestas and Katelynn Skeen tied for silver in the all-around (33.95). Skeen earned gold on vault (8.5) and floor (8.45) and bronze on bars (8.8) and beam (8.2.) Maestas took gold on bars (9.05), silver on vault (8.4) and floor (8.4) and 4th on beam (8.1.)
Silver Junior Division
In the same division as Clark, Suyana Ferreira earned silver on vault (8.8), bars (9.0), and floor (8.85) and bronze on beam (7.9). Ferreira took bronze in the all-around with a 34.55.
Silver Senior Division
Eugenia Trost placed second all-around (32.7), earning gold on floor (9.0), silver on vault (8.2), and bronze on bars (8.0) and beam (7.5.)
