One of three randomly selected local nonprofits to present talks about their funding needs, Los Alamos Makers Founder and President Dr. Prisca Tiasse spoke about her organization, which is a community-oriented makerspace dedicated to democratizing access to STEM education, innovation, and creative problem-solving tools in Northern New Mexico. After hearing each presentation, those gathered for the 100+ Women Who Care event voted to select Los Alamos Makers to receive $4,500 in donations. To learn more, visit losalamosmakers.org.
