Freedom Church Los Alamos Hosts Easter Service At Pond

Freedom Church News:

The community is invited to celebrate Easter Sunday, April 4 at Ashley Pond with Freedom Church in Los Alamos.

“We’re absolutely thrilled to be able to offer an outdoor Easter service for Los Alamos during this season.” explained Pastor Mike Brake.

“Los Alamos County is in the turquoise, the weather forecast for Easter looks favorable, and the ability to have a beautiful venue like Ashley Pond where we can meet in-person, celebrate and worship together, all while staying socially distanced and COVID-safe is priceless.”

Freedom Kids Director, Seth Evans elaborated that, “Kids 6th grade and under will have a blast with activities designed specifically for them including a town-wide digital scavenger hunt happening all week during Spring Break, as well as a COVID-safe Kids Carnival on Easter Sunday morning.”

“So many people don’t feel like they belong, or that they have value,” explained Pastor Mike. “Whether you join in-person or hop on the livestream, at Freedom Church Los Alamos we do everything we can to provide a low-pressure environment where people feel welcomed and valued.”

Pastor Mike further expects that, “If you come on Easter Sunday, it’s going to be an engaging atmosphere filled with hope. And after this past year, we could all use some hope and encouragement. You can even have some fun, and you don’t have to do it alone.”
