Free Public Lecture – ‘Catholics and American Freedom: A Short History’

Most Reverend John C. Wester Archbishop of Santa Fe invites one and all to attend a free public lecture “Catholics and American Freedom: A Short History” presented by Dr. Kathleen Holscher, Endowed Chair of Catholic Studies at UNM and Assistant Professor of American Studies and Religious Studies.

The lecture is Wednesday, Aug. 3 in the Fine Arts Center at St. Pius X High School, 5301 St. Joseph Place NW in Albuquerque. Arrival time is 6 p.m. with the lecture beginning at 6:30 p.m., followed at 7:10 p.m. with a question and answer session

This will be a great opportunity for priests, deacons, religious, lay ministers, Catholic School teachers/students, Confirmation students, and history buffs and there is no need to register.
