Ever heard of the book of Philemon? Believe it or not, it wasn’t written by a talk-show host! It’s an often overlooked book in the Bible written by the Apostle Paul. This Sunday evening at Trinity on the Hill Episcopal Church, join us in praise, worship, and fellowship as we dive into this elusive book.
EVERYONE is welcome to come help rock the house of God. We’ll have delicious food, great music and profound words of hope and encouragement.
In previous talks, it was said that if we want to know about God, we can look at Christ, who is our hope of glory. This week, Seminarian Laurie Triplett will continue this theme in discussing the book of Philemon to see what Paul has to tell us about living and leading within the Church today. As Laurie says, “there is an ignition that happens through the Holy Spirit in the body of Christ—that’s us! Through Christ, we can be the hope of glory in all our relationships!”
Join us at Trinity on the Hill Episcopal Church for a FREE community dinner and contemporary worship service! Dinner will begin at 5:15 p.m., followed at 6:07 p.m. with the service and a live praise-and-worship band—come see what we’re all about!
