SALA Event Center invites the community to a vibrant week filled with engaging forums, networking opportunities, and family-friendly films. From business discussions to holiday classics, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
EVENT HIGHLIGHTS:
Monday, Dec. 2
5:30 p.m. – Los Alamos Local Business Coalition Public Forum
Community members are invited to learn about the mission of LALBC to support local businesses. The forum includes a discussion on the proposed Diamond Drive property purchase and provides a platform for connecting with local business owners and stakeholders.
Wednesday, Dec. 4
11 a.m. – UNM-LA SBDC Business Scholars Luncheon
Celebrate the achievements of local business scholars and network with the community. The luncheon includes the Perfect the Pitch segment, encouraging attendees to introduce themselves and share their business stories. Participants are encouraged to bring swag, business cards, or brochures to exchange with others.
Friday – Saturday, Dec. 6-7
1-7 p.m. – Moana 2 and Wicked
- Moana 2: Set sail on Moana’s latest adventure as she discovers new worlds and reconnects with her heritage. This animated sequel features breathtaking visuals and unforgettable new songs, making it a must-watch for all ages.
- Wicked: Discover the untold story of the witches of Oz in this stunning adaptation of the acclaimed Broadway musical. Follow Elphaba and Glinda through a tale of friendship, rivalry, and destiny.

Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas: Starring Jim Carrey, this whimsical adaptation captures the spirit of the season with humor, heart, and festive cheer.
