Football Coach Arrested For Burglary In Gallup

MCKINLEY COUNTY New Mexico State Police was notified Oct. 2 of a burglary at Miyamura High School in Gallup.
 
During the investigation, State Police uniform officers viewed video evidence that showed a male subject, enter the locker room at Miyamura High School and take money from a football player’s wallet.
 
Officers identified the male subject as John D. Roanhoaus, 42, of Clovis who is the head football coach at Miyamura High School.
 
An arrest warrant was issued Friday, Oct. 4 for Roanhaus and he was arrested Saturday, Oct. 5 without incident. He was booked into the McKinley County Detention Center in Gallup. 
 
Roanhaus was charged with the following:
  • Burglary (4th Degree Felony); and
  • Larceny (Petty Misdemeanor).
