MUSIC News:

The Brother Brothers, a Brooklyn, NY based folk duo will play the historic Fuller Lodge 7 p.m. (doors at 6 p.m.) Thursday, Oct. 17.

The band’s odd name is a play on the fact that the duo is comprised of identical twin brothers, David and Adam Moss.

The two grew up in a house where music was appreciated and promoted and each spent some time during and after college with various bands and following their individual musical interests.

The brothers have reunited to pursue a shared passion for folk music and have won rave reviews for their first full-length album, Some People I know, of which Rolling Stone wrote, “intimate acoustic folk anchored by butter-smooth close-harmony vocals and minimalist-yet-sophisticated arrangements.”

The Brother Brothers show is the second of three shows this fall produced by not-for-profit, Live in Los Alamos. Wood and Wire played to a sold out crowd in early September and singer-songwriter Griffin House will make a Los Alamos return in early December.

Music lovers can enjoy East-Indian food by Curry and Hurry as well as beer and wine from Bathtub Row when doors open at 6 p.m., and the Brother Brothers will take the stage at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 17.

Tickets for all Live in Los Alamos shows can be purchased free of a service fee at the Los Alamos Schools Credit Union (cash or check only), or with a $2.50 service fee at liveinlosalamos.com. http://www.thebrotherbrothersmusic.com/
