100 Men Who Care voted and chose to donate funds to First Born Program of Los Alamos at their meeting Dec. 11 held at SALA Event Center. Over $3200 was given to First Born Program of Los Alamos. The First Born Program would like to express their gratitude to the 100 Men Who Care for their belief and financial investment in the mission of First Born Program and families of Los Alamos.
First Born Program of Los Alamos plans to use the funds to support in making connections between the families served by First Born with more seasoned and established members of the Los Alamos Community. First Born is planning to host groups in the coming year to help facilitate connection among more established families and individuals in the community with young families that might be new to the community and in need of some additional hands or ears.
First Born Program of Los Alamos is a non-profit organization that supports and is open to all families in Los Alamos County with children under the age of five. The First Born Program supports with home visiting services for over 120 individuals each month with education and parenting support and also provides lactation and sleep services, as well as offering monthly playdates to connect families to one another. 100 Men Who Care is a group of men dedicated to providing immediate and meaningful financial support to local organizations in Los Alamos. Thanks to sponsors of the event, 100% of donations are able to go towards charity. 100 Men Who Care give donations to local charities quarterly.
