Films Made By Students In PAC 8 Summer Film Intensive Program Showcased During Gala At SALA Event Center

PAC 8 News:

The Summer Film Intensive held a gala Last week at SALA, showcasing the 5 films teens made in 3 weeks. The five films are “Birthday Dress” by Isabella Friday Santistevan, “Farm Wars” by C.J. Smith, “Monster” by Juliana Jordon, “Sasquatch” by Alex Baker and “Real Estate” by Blue Engeman.

The Summer Film Intensive is a collaboration between PAC 8, the Los Alamos Teen Center, Fuller Lodge Art Center and the Youth Activity Center. This year marks the 5th consecutive year. Open to youth ages 13-18, this 3-week program takes participants through all of the steps in the process of creating an original short film – screen writing, camera operation, production planning and location shooting, acting, editing, and numerous other aspects of the film process. Students write, produce, and star in multiple original short films.
