Festival Of Trees At Betty Ehart Senior Center Saturday

This week volunteers weathered snow, slush and 25 degree temperatures to decorate two trees in downtown Los Alamos for the Los Alamos MainStreet project. The Festival of Trees is 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Betty Ehart Senior Center. Tree viewing has begun. If the cold weather keeps you from heading out to catch an early glimpse, allow the Los Alamos Daily Post to assist with a preview. Tickets for the snowflake raffle tree and many other items will be on sale during Thanksgiving lunches Thursday and Friday at the Betty Ehart Senior Center. Louise Hassman, Kay Burick, Patricia Rathbone, Cheryl Pongratz and Linda Hoffman are just some of the Festival Angels preparing the senior center for the festival fun. The senior center at 1101 Bathtub Row is a place for adults 50 years and older to socialize, learn, share meals, have fun and support each other. To learn more, call 505.662.8920 or click here.
