Fence Repair Project Along Diamond Drive Begins Today

COUNTY News:

Los Alamos County Traffic and Streets, in conjunction with their contractor American Fence, will be repairing the fencing along Diamond Drive between 40th and 35th streets beginning at 11 a.m. today.

Crews will close the right lane, shoulder and sidewalk on the east side of Diamond Drive. The project is anticipated to be completed by 6 p.m. today. Any additional work needed is scheduled for Monday, May 22 to complete the project.

Pedestrian traffic is detoured to the west side of Diamond Drive at the intersection of Orange Street and Diamond Drive and at the intersection of 38th Street and Diamond Drive.

Vehicle traffic will be diverted to the left lane on north bound Diamond Drive. All traffic is urged to slow down in this location and watch for detour signs, crews and pedestrians.
