FEMA Claims Offices Closed Friday, Saturday For 4th Of July

SANTA FE — The FEMA Hermit’s Peak/Calf Canyon Claims Offices in Mora, Las Vegas and Santa Fe will be closed Friday and Saturday, July 4 and 5, in observance of Independence Day.

The helpline also will be closed Friday and Saturday. All three offices and the helpline will resume their regular schedules on Monday, July 7. You can leave a voice message on the helpline any time at 505.995.7133 and your call will be returned during business hours. You can also call the Advocate’s Office at 505.995.7129.

The Claims Office is committed to meeting the needs of people impacted by the Hermit’s Peak/Calf Canyon Fire and subsequent flooding by providing full compensation available under the law as expeditiously as possible. As of June 27, the Claims Office has paid out more than 18,800 claims for total compensation of $2.623 billion.
